GERMAN COLE SLAW | |
Shred 1 large head cabbage; slice 2 medium onions. Put in alternate layers in container. Sprinkle 7/8 cup sugar on top. Pour this mixture hot over cabbage: 1 teaspoon dry mustard, 1 teaspoon celery seed, 3/4 cup vinegar, 1 tablespoon salt, 3/4 cup salad oil. DO NOT STIR. Chill overnight. |
