HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 sm. beef roast
1 med. onion
6 sm. potatoes
3 bags mixed frozen vegetables
2 tbsp. parsley
1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
Water to cover beef

Put beef in large pot. Put in enough water to cover meat. Start cooking on high. Cut up onion and potatoes; add to pot. Add frozen vegetables, barley and tomato juice. Cook at medium heat for 1 hour, then simmer. Season to taste.
