FRUIT PIZZA
DOUGH (CRUST) :

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/3 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
Fresh fruit (chunked)

Fresh fruit: (variety of your choice, e.g., frozen peaches, fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pineapple, grapes, apples, etc.)

FRUIT GLAZE:

Orange, strawberry, any you like.

DOUGH: Mix and cream butter, sugar, and egg. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Line an ungreased 14-inch pan (pizza pan, of course) with the dough. (Press it down as you would any regular pizza dough.) Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.

NOTE: Don't over bake, or crust will be too hard. Cool.

TOPPING: Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust, evenly. Arrange the assorted chunks of fruit over the topping.

GLAZE: Use glaze of your choice. Here is a good glaze you might wish to use:

Thicken 1 small can of orange juice with clear jel and 2 cups of water. Some glazes are available commercially, also, in a variety of flavors.
