SWEET POTATO COBBLER 
2 c. peeled, sliced sweet potatoes
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
Dash of nutmeg
1 tsp. grated orange rind
Pastry for double crust pie

Put potatoes in enough water to cover. Cook 10 minutes or until tender. Roll out pastry to 1/8 inch thick. Line a greased 10 x 6 inch pan with half of pastry. Spoon in potatoes and liquid; add sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, nutmeg, and orange rind. Top with remaining pastry, pressing edges to seal. Make several slits in top of pastry. Brush with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
