CRANBERRY DESSERT 
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 c. whole, raw cranberries

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. cream

Cake: Sift or stir together 1 cup sugar, the flour and baking powder. Stir in milk and cranberries. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan (greased and floured). Bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees.

Sauce: Cook sauce ingredients together in double boiler (or in heavy pan over low heat) for 10 minutes. Serve hot over dessert. If you like "saucier" dessert, use a double recipe of sauce for 1 recipe of cake. Serves 12.
