BANANA BARS | |
BARS: 1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening 2 eggs 2 slices med. bananas 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla FROSTING: 2 tbsp. soft butter 2 c. powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 sliced banana Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and bananas. Stir in milk. Beat until well mixed. Add flour, soda, salt and vanilla; mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and frost. FROSTING: Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth and creamy. |
