ORANGE BANANA BARS 
1 lg. ripe banana
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. puree banana
1 egg
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 tsp. grated orange peel

Combine dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg. Add dry ingredients alternately with banana. Fold in nuts and orange peel. Pour into an 8" square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool, spread with frosting.

ORANGE FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. orange juice
2 tsp. grated orange peel
