RYAN'S FAVORITE BUTTERSCOTCH
BARS
 
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. corn syrup
2 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch flavored bits
6-8 c. crisp rice
1 c. salted peanuts

In heavy saucepan combine marshmallow creme, water and corn syrup. Heat and stir over low heat until mixture comes to boiling. Remove from heat, add butterscotch bits. Stir until thoroughly blended.

Combine crisp rice and peanuts in large bowl. Pour marshmallow mixture over, toss until cereal is well coated. Press into well buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Chill until firm. Cut into squares. Yield approximately 3 dozen.
