GRANDMA'S TEXAS TATERS 
2 lbs. frozen hash browns, not thawed
1/2 c. cubed onions
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz. sour cream
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

TOPPING:

1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

While potatoes are still frozen, mix together hash browns, onions, 1/2 cup butter, pepper, salt, soup, sour cream, and cheese. Pour into 9x13-inch baking dish.
