SPICED PECANS | |
3 1/2 c. pecans 2 egg whites 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon Dash salt 1/2 lb. butter Toast pecans in 325 degree oven until golden brown. Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend sugar, cinnamon and salt and fold into egg whites. Stir in pecans. Melt butter in jelly roll pan. Spread pecan mixture over butter in pan and bake in 325 degree oven 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes until pecans absorb all the butter. |
