STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburg
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 c. raw rice
1 egg
Salt & pepper
Green peppers
Tomato juice or sauce

Mix first 5 ingredients together and stuff green peppers, either whole or cut in half. Stand them up in deep baking dish and pour sauce, diluted with water, over them. Keep lid on and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, adding more juice if needed. These can be frozen raw and cooked later on or bake and then freeze. This hamburger mixture may also be used to stuff cabbage rolls.
