STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. olive oil
3/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/8 tsp. each garlic powder, thyme and oregano
1/2 sm. bay leaf
1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 c. precooked rice

Brown meat in olive oil. Add onions. Cook until tender. Stir in ingredients in order given. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon into green peppers. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. (Pare boil peppers about 2 minutes before stuffing.)
