2 1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla wafers
Whipped cream

Mix and boil in double boiler until thick. Put wax paper in a round tin. Put a layer of vanilla wafers in tin. When custard is cool pour 1/2 over cookies. Then put cookie layer followed by custard and put cookies on top. Let stand 3 hours in ice box then turn out on plate and put whipped cream on top.
