FRESH PEA SOUP 
1/2 c. butter
1 sm. torn Boston lettuce
1 pkg. frozen or 1/2 lb. fresh peas
1 tbsp. sugar
2 c. chicken broth
Parsley or dill

Cook lettuce and peas briefly in melted butter. Blend with soup and seasoning and simmer. Add a little sweet or sour cream when serving hot or cold.
