N.'S CHOCOLATE MOUSSE PIE 
SHELL:

4 egg whites at room temperature
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tbsp. coconut

Beat egg whites and add sugar slowly. Spread over buttered pie plate. Sprinkle rim with coconut. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour or until coconut is lightly browned.

FILLING:

1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 egg
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
1 c. whipping cream

Melt chocolate and beat in egg whites, one at a time. Beat in whole egg and add vanilla. Beat egg whites to peaks. Whip cream and fold into chocolate and pour into shell. Chill and serve. Should be made day before and chilled.
