BLOND BROWNIES 
1 1/2 stick butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
3 eggs
2 2/3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Melt 1 1/2 sticks butter (cool 10 minutes). Add 1 pound light brown sugar, beat well. Add 3 eggs, one at a time. Sift 2 2/3 cups flour, 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt and add to mixture and mix well. Then add 1 (6 oz.) pkg. of chocolate chips and 1 cup of nuts if desired. Bake 25 or 30 minutes at 350 degrees in 10 x 14 inch pan.
