SWEDISH COCONUT COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shredded coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients together. Work in shortening, butter, vanilla, and coconut with a pastry blender. Then use hands and work dough until it is soft. Store in refrigerator overnight. Drop teaspoon of dough on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until cookies and coconut are slightly brown.
