OLD FASHIONED POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 3 1/3 c. sugar 4 c. flour, cake flour if desired 10 lg. eggs With butter at room temperature, cream sugar until light and puffy. Add eggs one at a time. Fold in flour, a small amount at a time. Grease a 10 inch tube pan. Pour in batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Do not open the oven door while baking. |
