1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
Vanilla pudding
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. nut meats
Cool Whip

Bake cake according to package directions. While cake is baking, simmer pineapple and sugar. When cake is baked, punch holes in top and pour pineapple mixture over top. Then refrigerate. When cool, add 1 box vanilla pudding, 1 cup coconut and nut meats with Cool Whip and frost cake.
