MONDEL BREAD #1 
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. oil
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 oz. pkg. sliced almonds
Cinnamon and sugar

Beat eggs, add sugar and vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder. Add alternately with oil to egg mixture. Add almonds. Form into 2 rolls approximately 2 inches thick. Place on greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven. While still hot, cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place back on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
