COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. coconut
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 tbsp. flour

Mix coconut, sugar, flour and salt in a bowl. Stir in unbeaten egg whites and almond extract and mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until edges are brown. Remove from cookie sheet at once.

Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
