CARAMEL - CHOCOLATE PECAN BARS 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. pecan halves

CARAMEL LAYER:

2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine crust ingredients except pecans. Press on bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle pecans on crust. Set aside.

Combine butter and brown sugar, cook on medium heat until mixture boils. Boil, stirring constantly until mixture dropped into ice water forms a firm ball.

Pour over pecans and crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 - 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and allow to melt. Swirl chips giving marble effect.
