CHERRY COLA DESSERT 
1 can 1 lb. Bing cherries
1 can 1 lb. crushed pineapple

Drain and measure syrups.

1 lg. pkg. (6 oz.) cherry or black cherry gelatin
1 (12 oz.) can or bottle cola beverage
1 c. canned or pkg. blanched slivered almonds

Add to water to drained fruit syrups to make 2 cups. Heat to boiling, pour over gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add cola and chill until unbeaten egg white consistency. Fold in cherries, pineapple and almonds. Spoon into 8 cup mold. Chill until firm, unmold and garnish with whipped topping.
