NEVER FAIL LEMON CAKE FILLING 
2 lemons, juice and grated rind
2 eggs, beaten well
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. cream
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter

Mix sugar and flour well, add cream, lemon and eggs and butter. Mix well and cook over very low heat until thick. When cooled, spread between layers of cake.
