VANILLA PUDDING 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
1/4 c. cold milk
2 c. warm milk, not boiling
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sift the flour with the cornstarch. Mix together with sugar and salt in a non-stick pot. Beat egg yolks and combine with cold milk. Mix with dry ingredients, stirring until smooth. Add warm milk a little at a time. Cook over low heat stirring continuously until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla stirring until butter is melted. Pour into pudding dishes or into graham cracker crust for a vanilla pudding pie.
