HAWAIIAN FRANKFURTERS 
1/4 c. butter
1 lg. onion
1 green pepper
1 c. diced canned pineapple, drained
2 sm. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 lb. frankfurters, cut in 2 inches pieces
Salt and pepper

Heat butter, add onion, green pepper, pineapple and tomatoes. Mix thoroughly. Cook over low heat for 7 minutes or until heated. Blend cornstarch with pineapple juice and vinegar. Stir into vegetable mixture. Add frankfurters and salt and pepper to taste.

Simmer covered for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. If necessary add a little more pineapple juice or hot water one tablespoon at a time. Serve with hot cooked rice. Makes 6 servings.
