YUM YUM BROWNIES 
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 c. flour, unsifted
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans, chopped

Blend melted butter with sugar and vanilla. Add eggs and beat well with spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture gradually until well blended. Stir in nuts.

Spread in greased 8-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until brownie pulls away from sides of pan. Cool and cut into squares. Use favorite chocolate frosting or sprinkle with powdered sugar, lightly. Makes 16.
