NEW YORK CHEESE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. melted butter
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix well and spread thin on bottom and up side of spring form pan. Reserve 3 tablespoons of crumbs to sprinkle on top of cake before baking. Bake crust for 8 to 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.

CAKE:

1/4 lb. butter
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all above ingredients, beat until smooth. Fold in gently 1 pint sour cream. Pour into pan, sprinkle the 3 tablespoons of crumbs on top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees until inserted knife comes out clean. Chill overnight. NOTE: Cheese, butter and eggs should be at room temperature before using.
