HERBED POTATOES 
3 lb. sm. white potatoes (12 med. size)
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 tsp. marjoram leaves, crumbled
1 tsp. thyme, crumbled
1 tsp. salt
If using fresh herbs, double the amount

Scrub potatoes, cut into thin slices. Place into buttered casserole dish. Pour melted butter over potatoes. Sprinkle with salt, marjoram and thyme. Cover casserole tightly. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven until tender, about 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours. Serves 5-6.
