SOFT PRETZELS 
1 pkg. yeast
6 tbsp. warm water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 c. flour
1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Measure warm water into mixing bowl. Add yeast; stir until dissolved. Add salt, sugar and flour; mix and knead dough. Divide dough into 6 balls, roll and twist into shapes, letters or numbers. Place on greased cookie sheet; brush with beaten egg. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Good served with melted cheese.
