DELIGHTFUL CHERRY DESSERT 
1/4 lb. graham crackers
1/4 lb. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 pkg. powdered whipped topping
1 can cherry pie filling

Melt butter. Crush graham crackers. Mix together and place in an 8-inch square pan. Soften cream cheese to room temperature. Beat with powdered sugar. Prepare whipped topping according to package directions. Fold cream cheese and whipped topping together. Spread over graham crackers. Spoon cherry filling over cheese mixture. Refrigerate until serving time.

I made this recipe 50 years ago and just made it again. I measured 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs for this. I also used 1 can of Comstock Original Cherry Pie filling only to find out there were not enough cherries (not like I remembered it used to have). I went back to the store and bought Comstock Extra Fruit Cherry Pie Filling and added it to the first can. Now it looked great. I suggest you use at least one can of the Extra Fruit and if you want even more fruit buy a second can, use half and save the rest for ice cream topping. The whipped topping was 1 pkg of Dream Whip.
