HOT PEPPER RELISH 
4 lbs. white and purple onions
40 to 50 hot peppers
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. salt
3 c. vinegar

Grind onions and peppers together. Heat sugar, salt and vinegar to a boil. Add onion and pepper mixture and cook for 3 minutes. Fill hot sterile jars and seal. Makes about 6 pints. Use water bath for 15 minutes.
