1 egg beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped tart apples
1/2 c. broken walnuts

Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients, add to egg mixture and blend well. Stir in apples and nuts. Spread in greased 8x8 or 9x9 inches pan. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
