OLD FASHION DROP DUMPLINGS 
1 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. melted butter
1/2 c. milk

Sift flour once, measure. Add baking powder and salt. Sift again. Add butter to milk. Add to flour and stir carefully until all flour is dampened and a soft dough is formed.

Spoon by teaspoons into boiling broth.

Cook low until done.
