AUSTRIAN TOMATO SALAD 
4 med. tomatoes, sliced thinly
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. water
1/4 c. fresh parsley

Step 1: In a medium bowl, stir together tomatoes, green pepper, onion and parsley. Set aside.

Step 2: For dressing, stir together vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, pepper and water. Pour over tomato mixture and toss.

Step 3: Cover and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with slotted spoon. Serves 5.
