CREAMY TOMATO SOUP | |
1 lb. ground turkey 1/4 c. water 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. paprika 8 c. peeled & chopped potatoes, carrots, celery & onion in any combination 1/2 c. dry barley 1/2 gal. water 1 1/2 c. flour 3 c. nonfat dry milk 2 c. water 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste Brown turkey, pepper and paprika in 1/4 cup water in large pot, breaking turkey into small pieces. Add vegetables, barley and 1/2 gallon of water. Simmer until done. Blend flour, dry milk and 2 cups water and add to pot. Cook until thickened. Stir in tomato paste. |
