LEOLA (FALKENHAIN) 'S COLESLAW
FOR FREEZER
 
1 med. head of cabbage, shredded
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 grated carrot, grated
1 med. green pepper, chopped

DRESSING:

1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. each: mustard and celery seeds

Mix salt with cabbage and let stand for 1 hour. Add grated carrot and chopped peppers. Place in freezer boxes with very tight lids.

Combine all dressing ingredients and boil for 1 minute. Pour over cabbage mixture and freeze immediately. Yields: about 8 servings.
