TOFU TURKEY BALLS 
1/2 lb. ground turkey
12 oz. tofu, drained & mashed
1 egg
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. sherry
1/4 c. green onions, chopped
1 c. panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
Salt & pepper to taste

Combine turkey, tofu, egg, onion, bread crumbs, sherry, salt and pepper; mix well. Form into 1 inch balls, roll in panko. Drop balls into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Serve with Teriyaki Sauce.

TERIYAKI SAUCE:

2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. shoyu
2 tbsp. sherry
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. ginger, grated

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and cook until thickened.
