CARROT-SPICE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. grated carrots
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Blend together oil, sugar. Blend egg one at a time. Sift together all dry ingredients, add to egg, oil and sugar. Mix well. Add carrots and pecans. Mix well. Pour in cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until tests done.
