APPLE RINGS 
2 lg. red apples
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cinnamon candies

Do not pare apples. Remove core and slice crosswise in 3/4 inch slices. Bring sugar and water to a boil; add candies and boil about 4 minutes. Drop in the apple slices and simmer gently until apples are tender.
