FUDGE PIE 
Graham cracker crust or 9" baked pastry shell
1 (5 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, separated
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips, melted
9 oz. whipped topping
3/4 c. whole pecans halves

Combine cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla. Blend well. Beat egg yolks. Add to cheese mixture and melted chocolate chips. Whip egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar. Fold whites into chocolate, then fold in whipped topping. Arrange in pie shell. Garnish with pecans and maraschino cherries if desired.
