SWEET YEAST ROLLS
2 pkg. yeast
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. melted butter
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. melted butter
flour

Mix yeast, flour, sugar and salt in bowl. Put water, milk and melted butter in another bowl; heat until warm. Add warm liquid to dry ingredients and beat well. Add beaten eggs and melted butter. Beat at high speed for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in enough flour (4 to 5 cups).

Knead 8 to 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Put in greased bowl for 20 minutes to rise. Shape into rolls or buns. Or roll into 2 rectangles and spread with melted butter and cinnamon and sugar mixture; roll as jelly roll and slice. Also can use a blueberry filling and spread as before. Also, a mixture of peanut butter and butter is good. Let rise.

Bake at 300°F for 25 to 30 minutes.

I was trying to find something similiar to the rolls you get at Golden Corral or Texas Roadhouse. These turned out fantastic. I even made two loaves of bread and cinnamon rolls out of this batch along with the rolls. Add some Honey Spread Butter and it is perfect!
