HOMEMADE WAFFLES 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
5 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk

Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside. Stir dry ingredients together. Mix milk and egg yolks. Put into dry ingredients. Mix with electric mixer. Beat in shortening. Fold in egg whites.
