EGGLESS "SAUCY" CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Sift together:

1 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tbsp. powdered cocoa

Combine and add to No. 1

1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Mix No. 1, 2 and 3. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2 greased and floured pan. Combine:

1/2 c. sugar, granulated
1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. boiling water

Pour mixture over cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool and turn out on serving dish. Garnish with whipped cream. Serves 8.
