IMPOSSIBLE FRENCH APPLE PIE 
6 c. sliced, pared tart apples
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
3/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Bisquick
Streusel (below)

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease pie plate (10 x 1 1/2 inch). Mix apples and spices; turn into plate. Beat remaining ingredients, except streusel, until smooth (15 seconds) in blender or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into plate. Sprinkle with streusel. Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean. 55 to 65 minutes.

STREUSEL:

1 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. firm butter

Mix all ingredients until crumbly.
