3 c. cooked beef or pork
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. ketchup
1/4 c. water
8 - 10 buns

Cook onion in butter until tender. Stir in the rest of the ingredients except meat. Simmer 5 minutes. Add shredded meat and heat thoroughly.
