BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1/2 c. soft butter
1 1/2 c. LIGHTLY packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. pecans

ICING:

3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 2/3 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs. Blend together flour and salt. Beat until fluffy. Add pecans. Bake in 350 degree oven in greased 8 x 8 inch pan 25-30 minutes.

ICING: Combine butter, milk, and brown sugar in pan, heat until sugar is dissolved. Beat in confectioners sugar, vanilla. Spread on brownies when they have cooled.
