HAMBURGER RICE HOT DISH 
Dissolve 1 envelope onion soup or 4 beef bouillon cubes in 4 cups hot water. Add 1 1/4 cups rice; cover and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Brown 1 1/2 pounds hamburger; drain fat. Add 2 cans cream of mushroom soup and 2 cans milk, 1 small can mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste.

Combine rice and meat mixture; stir and bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours until thickened in 325 degree oven. Stir 2-3 times while baking. Makes 1 large or 2 medium casseroles.

Chopped celery and 1/4 cup soy sauce may also be added. All but last baking can be done the day before.
