CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts

Cream sugar and shortening; add egg and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Add milk. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325-350 degrees approximately 8-10 minutes. Optional: Frost with any chocolate frosting.
