MUD SLIDE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. ground nuts

Press into square pan; I double above and use 9 x 13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees; cool.

2nd Layer:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

Cream sugar and cheese; add Cool Whip; spread on 1st layer.

3rd Layer:
2 sm. boxes INSTANT chocolate pudding
3 c. milk

Beat pudding and milk until thick. Spread on 2nd layer.

4th Layer:

Spread remainder of Cool Whip. (I buy the large container of Cool Whip - makes it more yummy) on top. Refrigerate for several hours.
